Shane Madden is a freelance illustrator based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. An art mercenary creating striking imaginary for the entertainment industry. Illustrating professionally since 2001, Shane has had the opportunity to create assets for comics, movies, games and magazines.

Shane has developed a reputation with his clients as the go to guy when you need a breathtaking piece of art. When an artorder magically shows up just before deadline. When someone has dropped the ball and you need to get the job done, done right, and done yesterday. Or, when you’ve already lost your best squad to an invisible, heat visioned, crab faced alien in the jungle.

Growing up, Shane spent all his free time either lost in his imagination armed with a box of crayons, or searching another castle for the princess, with a tear in his eye and a blister on his thumb. Now grown up, Shane spends his time both in the real world and the worlds he creates. Whether it be visiting sprawling vistas, technologically advance metropolises, meeting fantastical creatures riding on dragon-back, or fighting giant mecha with futuristic weaponry. Worlds where EVERYONE can be a hero.

Shane’s philosophy is that life is the most important part of creating art. If you live a life that’s genuine and to the fullest, then your art will be the same.
